Global Premium 1502 Blue Sapphire Toro Gordo is a bold and sophisticated Nicaraguan puro that represents the brand’s most robust offering to date. Handcrafted at the renowned Plasencia factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, this 6×52 box-pressed Toro Gordo is draped in a dark, oily Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper over an all-Nicaraguan binder and filler. The blend is expertly constructed to deliver a dynamic and complex experience. It opens with a medium-bodied profile that steadily builds in intensity, reaching full strength in the second half. Expect a rich tapestry of flavors featuring a core of natural tobacco and cedar, seamlessly layered with bready notes, baker’s spice, subtle minerals, and a pronounced black pepper on the retrohale, all finishing with a warm, lingering sweetness. This is a premium, slow-burning cigar perfect for the experienced aficionado.
