This 5½×48 soft box-pressed cigar pays homage to the state’s historic Charter Oak tree — a nearly 1,000-year-old white oak that once stood in Hartford. The blend features an old-school rustic Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Estelí and Jalapa. Handcrafted at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua, the Pasquale delivers a medium-bodied profile with notes of mocha (coffee and chocolate), cream, earth, fruit sweetness, and a peppery bite on the retrohale. A refined yet gritty smoke that rewards patience and aging, produced in limited quantities.
