Product Description
Casdagli Cypher 3311 Boniface is a medium-bodied Robusto Extra that forms part of a historically inspired collection steeped in Casdagli family lore. “3311” was Major A.T. Casdagli’s POW number during World War II — a British officer who, while resisting exploitation, stitched artwork to keep his mind at peace. Part of his uncooperative posture was to weave phrases into his embroidery using Morse Code, messages that were never discovered by his captors even as several of his stitchings were prominently hung around multiple POW camps. This 5×54 cigar features an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Costa Rican binder, with a filler blend of Peruvian, Dominican, and undisclosed tobaccos. The result is a rich, refined profile with notes of honey, roasted almond, dark chocolate, baking spices, and a creamy peppered finish. Handcrafted at IGM Cigars in Costa Rica, each cigar is individually coffined and presented in elegant boxes of 8 with a Boveda humidification pack. Only 8,000 cigars were released initially, with 16,000 (4,000 of each size) produced annually thereafter, and a portion of proceeds benefits the Red Cross. More than a cigar, the Cypher 3311 collection is a tribute to courage, craftsmanship, and coded defiance.
