El Pulpo by Artesano del Tobacco Toro Grande Box-Pressed is a full-bodied Nicaraguan puro crafted at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano factory. This 6×56 box-pressed Toro features a rustic Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over an all-Nicaraguan binder and filler. The profile is potent yet smooth, delivering deep earthiness, cocoa, spice, and a savory meatiness that coats the palate. Like its namesake — “the octopus” — it envelops the senses with rich complexity and a distinctive retrohale, leaving a lasting impression. Awarded the #5 spot in Cigar Snob’s Top 25 Cigars of 2023 with a 93 rating.VITOLA: Toro Grande 6×56 SHAPE: Box-Pressed (Square) WRAPPER: Mexican San Andrés Maduro BINDER: Nicaraguan FILLER: Nicaraguan STRENGTH: Full ORIGIN: Nicaragua FACTORY: AJ Fernandez (San Lotano) BLENDER: Artesano del Tobacco
